We'll talk about Kumamoto local dishes. In Kumamoto, there are many delicious food. We particularly chose horse meat, karashi-renkon, and ikinari-dango.

First, we'll talk about horse meat. There are the custom that people eat row horse meat in Nagano, Yamanashi, and the Tohoku district, but these days Kumamoto is hte most popular about horse meat. We eat it with soy sauce and spice which like ginger or leek. And then, we eat it on the susi.

Next, we'll talk about karashi-renkon. Karashi-renkon is a one of the Kumamoto local dish. It is what is packed mustard miso into the hole of boiled lotus root, coated, and deep-fried. It tastes a little piquant but very delicious. We can see karashi-renkon goods these days. This is the example. It's very cute.



Finally, we'll talk about ikinari-dango. It's the one of sweets. It is made of a sweet potato, red bean paste, and flour. Recently, you can find many different styles. For example, brown sugar dumpling, purple poteto dumpling, and so on. If you eat it, you will be addicted the simple tastes.
